Registration Information for Summer 2009
Students who participated in SummerStage in 2008 may register February 16, 2009.
Students who take TheatreSchool classes during the 2008-2009 school year may register February 18, 2009.
Students new to Charleston Stage may register February 23, 2009.
Call 856-3822 or 577-5967 or come by the Mount Pleasant Studio at 629 Johnnie Dodds Blvd begininng at 9am on your registration day.
Each Summer Charleston Stage Education Staff, Resident Acting Company, and more than 60 students stage SummerStage, a three week acting camp that culminates in a full-scale musical complete with sets, lights, costumes, and even a live orchestra, on stage at the Sottile Theatre. Past productions include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Seussical the Musical, Disney's Aladdin, The Wiz, The Jungle Book, and Disney's High School Musical.
No Prior Musical Theatre Experience Necessary.

Camp Dates: July 13– August 2, 2009
July 13-16 (Monday -Thursday)
July 20-24 (Monday-Thursday)
July 27-31 (Monday -Friday)
Performance Dates
July 31 (7pm)
August 1 & 2 (2pm)
Daily Schedule
Grades 2 - 5: 9am - 12pm
Grades 6 - 12 10am - 3pm
(Grades for 2009-2010 school year)
Needed for Class
Dress in comfortable clothes you can move in ie; shorts and T-shirts
WEAR SNEAKERS –NO flip-flops or Crocs
Bring a snack if you are half day, a lunch if you are full day
Everyone bring a water bottle.
